The importance of education is reflected in our accreditation by the Wisconsin Religious & Independent School Association (WRISA). With a strong multi-cultural student body, we teach and practice mutual respect in the eyes of God and welcome new students with open and loving arms. St. Thomas More is focused on traditional Catholic values and teaching.
Our focus on RESPECT through multi-cultural eyes gives our student a solid religious grounding with a large global outlook. We look forward to sharing our school and its opportunities with your child.
Dual Language Programming
St. Thomas More Catholic School embraces a bilingual and bicultural learning environment. Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, all preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students will be learning in both Spanish and English. The program will continue to expand through fifth grade and beyond in future school years. Both native Spanish and native English speaking students are welcome. Please contact St. Thomas More Catholic School to enroll your child today!
St. Thomas More is a consolidated school supported by the parishes of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, St. Mary of the Angels, SS. Peter and Paul, St. Willebrord, St. Philip the Apostle and St. John the Evangelist. We were established in the fall of 1987. Our beginnings found us operating out of two sites: SS. Peter and Paul (housing a K-5 Program and a Middle School program); St. Mary of the Angels (housing a P-5 program). In 1993 the entire elementary level was moved to the St. Mary’s site. In 1995 the middle level was also moved to this site.
Today, St. Thomas More School is part of the GRACE system and is independently controlled by a Site Advisory Council comprised of three executives (President, Vice President, and Secretary). The principal and a staff member also serve on the SAC along with other members and parents. We invite you to get involved with our school and your child’s education in any way possible.
St. Thomas More School looks forward to continue serving the Catholic community of Green Bay for many years to come.
